Ted is a 1995 UCM Graduate with a BS in Aviation Technology. While at UCM, Ted developed the concept for his family business, White Knight Limousine and Coach, that operates 60 vehicles throughout the state of Missouri. Ted is the President, and handles all vehicle purchases, financing, and insurance for the business. Ted also oversees the Kansas City operation development.
Beginning in 1997 with a single coach, they quickly grew the fleet to 6 after being awarded its first college athletic contract. White Knight is now in four markets including Kansas City, Columbia, Springfield, and St. Louis and holds contracts with 14 private universities for athletic and other travel needs. Overall, they operate 60 vehicles, including sedans, SUV’s, stretch limousines, trolleys, mini coaches, full size coaches, entertainer coaches, and support vehicles. White Knight employs 60 people and maintains facilities in both Columbia, Mo. and in Kansas City. In December 2012, White Knight acquired Sunset Tours of Kansas City. Ted plans to grow annual revenues to around $5M in 2013.
As an avid aviator, Ted flies over a 100 hours per year in a Beechcraft Bonanza. Pastimes in include traveling, home remodeling, flying model helicopters, real estate development, restoring classic cars, trolley cars, and busses. He is an animal lover & supporter of animal rights causes, and resides in Columbia with his fiancé Kari and their 3 rescued dogs.
